"The GeIL Ultra Platinum PC4000 memory kit is as good as it gets. For people willing to sacrifice quantity for obvious quality, this kit definitely deserves consideration. With timings of 2-3-2-6-1T @ DDR400 and 2.5-4-4-7 @ DDR588, the GeIL Ultra Platinum PC4000 memory kit is one of the more versatile kits I've come across, allowing for great timings at lower clock speeds and an impressive overclock without excessive voltages. What really surprised me was the fact I was able to scale so far at the default timings while never pushing the memory's voltage past 2.9v....and the fact that taking the memory to it's max rated voltage of 3.1v got me no further.
While GeIL's website says this kit is actually recommended for older INTEL based systems (that use DDR1 memory), I found it performed flawlessly in my AMD based system. "~ Rich Caporali @ HardwareLogic.com
