The default speed on this memory is 1066MHz DDR2 or PC2-8500 and memory timing is 5-5-5-15 (CAS-TRCD-TRP-TRAS). With a fast memory speed and a reasonably tight memory timing, GeIL EVO ONE memory was definitely designed with the gamer in mind. Not only that, it's available in either a dual channel configuration or a quad channel configuration at PC2-6400 & PC2-8500 speeds.

Dnes se podíváme na další moduly značky GeIL z Evo One edice. Testované paměti mají nominální takt 1066 MHz a používají standardní časování 5-5-5-15. Kapacita modulů v kitu je 2x 2048 MB a paměti mají masivní chladič s heatpipe. Jak se jim vedlo, na to nám odpoví dnešní test.

First on the chopping block is the Geil PC2-9260 (or 1160MHz) DDR2 memory module kit. Geil sent us a 2GB kit that contained 2x1GB modules rated to run at 4-4-4-12 at their maximum 1160MHz with a safe working voltage between 2.35 and 2.55v, definately one if the highest supporting voltage memory kits on the market.
